Precision Turning and Manufacturing Ltd has been machining metal products for over 60 years. Situated in Pukekohe, the company shifted in 2007 into a brand new factory designed to meet the company’s requirements.
The plant is equipped with CNC lathes, in 2, 3 and 5 axis configurations, with cross drilling, face drilling and shaft keyway capabilities on Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium, and Plastics. The core capability of the plant is focussed on small to medium volume manufacturing, primarily targeted at OEM markets where cost effectiveness at low volumes and short manufacturing lead times are critical factors.
The company’s primary role is to supply hydraulic fittings to Hydraulink Fluid Connector’s extensive nationwide network in New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific Islands.
But hydraulic fittings are just the beginning. Precision Turning and Manufacturing Ltd offers a real alternative supply to meet your manufacturing requirements. The company also supplies a wide range of special machining to such diverse industries such as wheel nuts, fire extinguisher parts, and trailer components.
Run sizes can vary from one-off prototypes right through to batches of 10,000 plus. We currently manufacture fittings for a variety of OEM manufacturers including Waratah Forestry Attachments, Hydralada, Coombridge and Alexander, Pearson Engineering, Wedgelock Equipment, Clough Agriculture, Robertson Manufacturing, Fairbrother Industries, Fieldmaster and many more.
The production team at the factory have a wealth of experience in manufacturing, with the factory manager and three machine setters alone. This know-how enables us to provide the most cost effective solution to your manufacturing needs.
